ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM

The Hero’s Journey Symposium was comprised of presentations on the current and future state of mental health issues in the military community, followed by panel discussions and closing discovery and synthesis sessions.  These sessions were organized to bring together a wide array of stakeholders from fields including, but not limited to, research, healthcare, policy, and the military community.  Ultimately, these sessions are working towards the goal of producing an action plan to build better pathways to recovery, from wounds to wellness.

Determine the role of technology in identifying risk factors and supporting solutions to assist with recovery and treatment.

Global Perspective

Leverage the power of the international community to share knowledge, experience, and research of how their communities address these issues.
